Where do I start … March 6, 2021 was the day that I have dreamt of since I can remember and it was finally here.

When we arrived at the venue Lunikhy Game Lodge that was situated just outside of Pretoria. My sister-in-law Jessica and I got there the Friday afternoon around 1 o’clock to make sure everything was in order for Brian and I’s big day the next day, everything was beautiful and exactly what I wanted it to be. On the day of my wedding, I woke up ready for our big day, we started getting ready from 8 o’clock that morning with some champaign, or more like a lot of champaign since the nerves started to kick in a bit.

The Wedding Day

Brian and I wrote our vows to each other, and we read it while we got ready, my heart stopped at that moment and I have never felt calmer and more excited at the same time, and I knew this was going to be exactly the day that l have dreamt of since I was a little girl and my heart was so happy that I was going to share it with my only love Brian. From the ceremony right through the reception up to when the dessert was served everything was just perfect and like a dream that I never wanted to wake up from. Brian and I took some moments just to take a step back from everyone so that we could just take it all in, because believe me the day went by so fast, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I am so grateful for all those special moments on our wedding and especially grateful for all the people that made it happen.
