Anton van Zyl, the owner and founder of AVZ Decor & Design, has had a long history in the event industry. He started by assisting his mother with weddings and functions at To-Nett’s, a well-known florist in Paarl. In 2003, he ventured out on his own and established To-Nett’s Hiring & Decor, which quickly became one of the top service providers in the industry. Anton’s expertise, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills allowed him to work on notable events, including celebrity weddings like Rolene Strauss (former Miss World) and weddings involving famous rugby players like Eben Etzebeth, Faf de Klerk, Cheslin Kolbe, and Kobus van Wyk.

He also contributed to TV shows such as “Bak & Brou” and Oppiestoep. After the closure of To-Nett’s Hiring & Decor, Anton briefly explored his passion for building houses and working in the construction industry during the latter half of 2021 and the beginning of 2022.
However, he soon realized that his true passion and focus lie in creating beautiful events through draping, dance floors, flowers, lighting, and more importantly, ensuring client satisfaction.

Anton is now working alongside his wife Rhodene, who handles the systematic and financial aspects of the business, while Anton takes charge of the creative side. Together they make a great team and strive to deliver exceptional events experiences to their clients.
