The Silo and Shed

Just when you think you’ve seen every venue the winelands have to offer, there’s this quaint little shed named The Silo and Shed.

Nestled in the Stellenbosch winelands and has been given a second life as an intimate wedding venue. Charming, tastefully decorated, soft with natural light, stylish, but with an unaffected beauty, you’ll love this secure, exclusive reception venue with its bright, natural lighting, countryside lawns, wrap veranda and ample parking. An eclectic mix of modern sophistication and farm-life charm, The Silo and Shed’s décor is a breath of fresh air. Papered walls with large leafy designs echo the botanical theme found in the hanging plants and pot plants.

The Silo and Shed can accommodate up to 60 guests and allows for weddings held during the week, over the weekend and on public holidays. The venue will supply the place settings and the furniture, both indoor and outdoor.

The Silo and Shed has a variety of menus to suit every taste. Starters can be served outside as finger-food or canapes together with pre-drinks while the newlyweds have their photoshoot. Meals can be served as buffet or plated, depending on the need of the client.

Viewings take place on weekdays and Saturdays by appointment only between 13h00 and 16h00 unless otherwise arranged. Outside catering is not permitted unless Halaal or Kosher food is required.
