Bridal Makeup Artist
Stellenbosch based hair and makeup artist, Adri Hugo, is a veteran as a bridal makeup artist. She travels all over to do onsite hair and makeup for weddings whilst also running her little hair studio.
Her passion for her profession is seen in her work with weddings being her big love. She tastefully captures every bride’s allure and natural beauty, whether a bride wants a natural look or a more dramatic look. Adri has learned the value of keeping a good balance between creativity and practicality. She creates customs look for all her brides to suit their needs and personality.
Her formal training as a hairdresser gives her valuable knowledge about hair and she can advise you on and do hair colouring, brazilian, blowdry etc. that will compliment your wedding style.
Being in the industry for 20 years does not mean she does not keep up with the latest trends. She says it is a blessing to do what you love even after so many years. Adri added airbrushing to her repertoire in 2014 and love the natural-looking and long-lasting effect of airbrush makeup. She does a combination of traditional makeup and airbrushing to create the perfect look. When often being asked the question of whether she prefers doing hair or makeup she answers “I love the whole transformation process, so for me, it is the combination of both”.
