Studio 25 and 25 Weddings is made up of Jacques and Chané Greyling. They are a husband-and-wife team that share a love and passion for photography and videography, and for capturing those special memories that, at times, get missed in the moment.

By getting to know their clients better, developing an understanding of their desires and dreams for their big day, and from the teams experience they have learned to know exactly when moments like that tend to happen and to keep a sharp eye for the ones that can’t be anticipated.

What makes 25 Weddings unique?

From the outset, you need to know that because they are a husband-and-wife team, you have options! They are experienced each in their own right and they are inclined differently. The team are excellent in diverse techniques and styles, and they have distinct tastes as well.

25 Weddings style for a specific wedding is inspired by three things – the couple, the environment (venue) and their personal approach. Vibrant, airy, and light is quite possibly Chané’s favourite style. When a couple is funny, enthusiastic, and vibrant, all the signs are there that this style would be a great fit. Her work captures beauty and emotion in all its forms. On the other hand, Jacques has a style with a flare for the dramatic. When a couple is passionate, strong, and deep, he would be the first to enhance these characteristics with a moody and dark edit. He loves using light and shadows to create drama and is an expert at advanced photo manipulation like astrophotography which gives his work a passionate and intense aura.

The cinematic style is one they love to use and have fun with, because the aim is to capture the true essence and story of a couple. This style needs more planning and preparation and is determined by the couple and guided by their experience and expertise.

They are also highly experienced in the popular photojournalistic style for wedding photography. In this style a photographer or videographer simply documents what happens…. Experience, intuition, and deep concentration is needed to capture memorable moments as they unfold. Many can be anticipated, but the best ones usually come as a surprise!
