A traditional farm style wedding

“My fairy tale wedding came true on 24 September 2022, since I was a little girl I have been dreaming about a farm wedding. Stefan is a farmer and we don’t get much time away from the farm so we wanted a weekend wedding.”

The day of “I Do”

“Stefan and his crew went for a “McNabb” and breakfast the morning of the wedding and was joined by DKE Productions for a photo session. On the other hand, the bride tribe had platters with delicious snacks and champagne while we got ready. It felt like magic was in the air when our excellent Make-Up artist started to do his magic! Our photographers captured every step of the way getting ready to become the Misses.”

Game Lodge Wedding Venue

“We scouted lots of venues in North West and Gauteng and the day we first drove into Inyala Lodge’s gates, we looked at one another and we both knew this was it.

Inyala lodge has a real relaxing and “Welcome to the bush” atmosphere where friends and family really feel at home. The staff on the farm is like family, Winia, our co-ordinator is excellent at what she does, she made sure that I had absolutely everything I wanted.”

Wedding Decor Inspiration

“I tried not to be one of those Pinterest brides, I knew that I wanted Waterfall garlands with Eucalyptus on my tables and we just went with the magic from there. We didn’t hold back on flowers and there were flowers everywhere. My colour scheme was forest green and a Burgundy tonal range. Once a farmer, always a farmer, so we couldn’t leave out the cattle breeds as table names and a windmill on each table. For me the big picture was in the small details with matching stationary ranging from mints to menu’s!”

The Reception Party

“Our opening dance was my favourite part of our wedding, we danced on clouds and when we kissed sparks flew! DKE didn’t just provide us with the most beautiful photos, they have an awesome DJ as well. Let’s just say guest wanted to pay them at 3 in the morning to keep the party from ending. Dreams do come true when you have a professional team on your side!”
