The Ranch Conservancy, situated 25 kilometers south of Polokwane in South Africa, spans 1000 hectares and provides facilities for weddings, sports, exhibitions, conservation, accommodation, and conferencing.

You will have a selection of 6 different venues seating up to 650 guests and stay over at the 4-star deluxe Protea Hotel by Marriott Ranch Resort which boasts 150 rooms. Perfect for a weekend wedding. A complimentary executive bridal suite is offered for your first night for weddings exceeding 100 guests.

Venue Descriptions:

SAFARI
The Safari Centre is able to accommodate between 150 – 650 guests seated for a banquet. The interior has been fitted with silken drapes, anchored down the centre of the ceiling and looping out to the side walls. These are lit from behind with a kaleidoscope of pastel colors which can be selected to suit the occasion. The available dates and venues are subject to availability and changes frequently.

BUSHWILLOW
This is an extremely popular venue situated a few minutes’ drive from the main Hotel. An absolutely unique venue situated deep within the Limpopo bush. If you desire an ‘Out of Africa’ wedding, with or without the stars, this is the perfect setting catering up to 500 people. Special conditions apply to the use of this venue; please discuss this with your wedding coordinator. Remember though, this is YOUR wedding, and this venue can make your reception unforgettable.

MELSETTER
Decorated in beige & earthy colors, state of the art air-conditioning & lighting, lovely pre-assembly area with a bar and outdoor patio. The dance floor can be place inside the venue, however many brides choose to dance on the patio. Melsetter can seat 50 – 150 guests banquet style.

THE LAPA
Beautifully situated in the landscaped grounds of the Ranch hotel next to the swimming pool complex, this is the latest addition to the continued improvement programme. The Lapa can seat between 50 – 180 guests for lunch, dinner, Braai and Spit braai Weddings.

BACCHUS
Decorated in beige & earthy colors, state of the art air-conditioning & lighting, lovely pre-assembly area with a bar and outdoor patio. Bacchus can seat between 30 – 70 guests.
