Wedding Vendor Workshop At Loch Lynne

On the 30th of November 2022 our team at Pink Book hosted our third Wedding Vendor Workshop at Loch Lynne Estate. What is a Wedding Vendor Workshop? It’s where wedding industry professionals come together to network and expand their knowledge of the ever-expanding and changing industry.

The Wedding Workshop

The day started off with guests arriving to a nice cup of coffee from Yum Factor and selection of juices while they signed in and got their name badges for the day.

All Things Contract Related

The first point of discussion was an informative talk by Leani Steenkamp from The Legal Stuff. Her talk focussed on contracts between the service provider and client and the need-to-know basics when setting one up. This was followed by a 30 minute Social Media Talk by one of our own staff to emphasise the importance and benefits of using META Business to manage your social platforms.

A short break then followed where guests could enjoy incredible canapés prepared by The Velvet Effect, some more coffee and incredible gin and cider drinks from Keg Hire. Yellow Lemon Booth kept everyone entertained with their pink photo booth setup; gifting everyone with a beautiful photo strip as a keepsake of the day.

The Panel Discussion

With every workshop we host a panel discussion with industry professionals and for this specific event we were honoured to have Tracy, from Trunk Events, Mabel from Mabel M Florals, Andre from Vivid Blue and Didi from Didi Couture.

They had the opportunity to share and give advice to those attending. It ended with an open floor discussion on the wedding industry in South Africa and what we need to do to ensure everyone reaches their goals for 2023.
