Bridesmaidsmoon with Precious the Planner
What a creative new concept! We joined Precious Thamaga, more well known as Precious the Planner, as she took her team of bridesmaids on an awesome weekend away to Cape Town. This amazing bride squad had a blast; celebrating a 30th birthday, participating in a fashion photoshoot and just enjoying their time together before the big day.
What is a Bridesmaidsmoon?
The idea of a bridesmaidsmoon is for the bride-to-be to take her bridesmaids away on a trip together, whether it is for a weekend or just a day. This is a great opportunity to spoil your girls, have fun and make some lasting memories before the wedding day. As the name suggests, it is a “honeymoon” for the bridal party. Imagine a whole big party weekend with lots of pampering and champagne!
Lesedi, one of Precious’s bridesmaids and her second in charge, mentioned that this getaway was the perfect chance for all the bridesmaids to get to know each other and bond. The five girls all live in different places countrywide and didn’t know each other well. After a weekend together they all feel much closer and prepared to work as a team for the big day.
Precious and Her Girls Take a Trip to Nooitgedacht
For their weekend getaway, dubbed the #PSOurLoveStory Bridesmaidsmoon, took Precious and her squad to Nooitgedacht in Stellenbosch. There they kicked off the day with a delicious, delectable brunch and bubbly supplied by the venue. They held a surprise birthday bash for Shirley for her 30th, with a stunning cake made by Inke Cake Design. And after the celebrations, they teamed up with some of Cape Town’s top wedding professionals for an AMAZING Gentle Regality Concept Wedding styled shoot!
Everyone got pampered and gussied up for the photoshoot, with beautiful gowns, hair & makeup and floral accessories. The piece de resistance was the breathtaking angel wings decorated with striking flowers.
