A privately owned estate that you can hire exclusively just outside Franschhoek which is absolutely gorgeous. You’ve got complete exclusivity on the day if you would like it. It sleeps 54 guests and has a Manor House with different rooms. They have various buildings available to choose from which creates a beautiful, natural flow. You can have your guests move from one area to the next. It has the most stunning indoor areas for both your ceremony, pre-drinks and for a dinner reception and an endless night of dancing.
They have beautiful locations on site where couples can explore the magical gardens that offer the most amazing french-style experience. They have a beautiful Manor House with beautiful lighting where you as the bride can get dressed and a location on site for groom preparation. Everything is close by which is great as proximity is important to ensure that everyone is on time. They have the most amazing tractor that takes all your guests up to the chapel.

Situated just outside Franschhoek is the very well established wine estate where you’ve got a beautiful Manor House, you’ve got a glass enclosed vineyard terrace, in essence a veranda, which hosts up to150 people and a beautiful historic barn that you could transform for your ceremony. 6) 401 Rozendal
401 Rozendal again is a beautiful inclosed venues that has a sort of industrial look and feel with an indoor chapel. It’s all paved so you know your guests will be fine and protected should it rain on the day. The venue offers a modern-rustic canvas and clean lines, welcoming a range of wedding décor styles and giving couples the opportunity to truly make the space their own. For bigger celebrations, a Bedouin tent can be added to the veranda to accommodate up to 180 guests. The venue boasts with a comfortable lounge with fireplace, dance area and a classy bar.
7) La Paris
If you have a very large group, La Paris estate is the perfect venue. It has a massive venue that hosts up to 350 people. It is an old farm building converted into an immaculate white-marble-tiled functions venue with chandeliers and old beams in the ceiling that allows you to convert the look of the space into whatever you imagine by suspending decor or indoor plants. So even for a winter wedding for example that has a smaller amount of guests you could consider booking this big space and utilising if for all the different parts of the day by making clever use of it.
They have quite a bit of accommodation on site with an on-site chapel and covered pre-drinks area. There’s not too much to do to dress the venue up. It comes with tables and chairs, glasses and all the bells and whistles that you need in preparing your wedding without too much stress in hiring too many things and to top it off. The venue come with on-site chefs which create amazing food which is always a bonus.
This is a brand new venue for about 150 guests with some accommodation on site. This venue is for the more contemporary bride. The venue is a little quirky with a colorful approach to it with great character and absolutely fabulous views.They have a variety of venues you can choose from like the Johannesdal Hall which has enormous picture windows overlooking the majestic mountains, The Blue Room which is a reception area which can be used for small gatherings or in case of bad weather to host pre-function cocktails or ceremonies and The Reading Room where overnight guests can host a small pre/post event for up to 20 friends at no additional cost.
At Belair the bride can check into her room and be completely separate from the groom and relax with her bridesmaids. It’s a very beautiful venue in the sense of couple photographs for the evening. You can basically move around the venue as the sun sets around the venue. You can see your guests, they can see you as you’re never too far away. The venue itself offers the most amazing landscape and it’s a very well manicured garden which is always in pristine, immaculate condition. It has a chapel on site which they’ve recently upgraded by investing in willow-like trees to give you that woodland feel.
11) La Residence
If you want to really splurge on your wedding day this is the venue. This is one of the most high-end properties in the country that allows you to really have a very luxurious celebration. You canto host up to about 120 guests inside, 140 maximum. You could even potentially be sleeping in the room that Elton John slept in when he came to Cape Town so it’s on that level but really worth.
