The Love Story

Jannie and Jonelda’s story blossomed through the serendipity of mutual friends during their time at NWU. Jannie’s persistent pursuit eventually led Jonelda to agree to a Saturday date, where the two just clicked. So enchanted by their time, Jannie wasted no time in asking Jonelda out again the very next day.

The next day Jonelda introduced Jannie to two of her friends, Rone and WH, they ended up spending the entire day with them. It was during this whirlwind day that Rone and WH, sensing the spark between Jannie and Jonelda, orchestrated an impromptu adventure to a hostel dine.

Special Engagement

With their friends intervention, Jannie and Jonelda found themselves swept into an unexpected yet delightful experience, complete with a wardrobe rescue and spontaneous photoshoot organized by Rone and WH within mere minutes. They dance and laughed the night away. The next day Jannie took Jonelda on their third date, a picnic.

This weekend sealed the deal for Jannie and he was determined to make Jonelda his. The weekend after he drove 3 hours to meet Jonelda’s parents. After just two short months of knowing each other Jannie asked Jonelda to be his girlfriend in the cornfields on their family farm. They have been inseparable ever since and after 3 and a half years the two will be getting married at De Harte 21 Sep 2024 .
