New Cape Town Luxury Venue: Embassy Hill
Embassy Hill is the newest Cape Town Luxury Venue and Accommodation and we’ve got the inside scoop on this gorgeous new exclusive venue. This hidden gem is nestled in the heart of the city, but has a quality of opulence, privacy and decadence that will have you swooning!
The Embassy Hill is a beautiful private house and garden in the heart of Constantia that has been created for guests looking for something more personal than a luxury hotel. This iconic former Dutch embassy landmark has been lovingly refurbished to offer guests a relaxed premium experience, whilst still evoking that essential feeling of seclusion and home away from home charm.
With breath-taking views from the house and its grounds that take in the whole of False Bay, the Hottentots Holland mountains, the Cecilia Forest and Constantia Nek mountains, this unique venue offers the most discerning of brides the perfect backdrop for her dream wedding in the fairest Cape.
Versatile, Embassy Hill is the perfect venue for small and intimate weddings and large and luxurious celebrations alike. The four bedroom suites, each individually decorated, serve as the perfect space for bridal preparations as well as an overnight stay for special guests.
Ceremony and Reception
Embassy Hill has a maximum capacity of 150 guests. The outdoor gardens offer unparalleled views of the Constantia Berg and is absolutely ideal for an outdoor ceremony. From Spring to Autumn, you’re sure to find lush greenery in a spectacular array of colours. The reception hall can take up to 150 guests including a dancefloor, and has immaculate floor to ceiling windows, allowing for maximum natural light and gorgeous scenery of the garden. The wooden flooring adds an old world charm with a feeling of richness and warmth. They have in-house catering and bar services, with a range of the top Constantia Berg Wines. For all your other needs, they have a list of preferred vendors that have been carefully selected for the best quality.
Historic architecture and carefully selected decor is harmoniously blended to create a romantic space set apart from the daily hustle and bustle of Cape Town. This unique space will become the perfect setting for entertaining special guests, hosting strategic meetings and intimate celebrations. The four rooms at Embassy Hill are all different, as you would expect in a private house. Some are more spacious, others more compact, but all have a warm familial feeling created with a South African sensibility using tactile materials.
You can enjoy a relaxing stay with your bridal party the night before the wedding, and have the stress of getting ready off campus removed entirely. There is a great room for the Groom’s prep shots – a masculine and rich space offering your photographer wonderful photo opportunities. The natural light coming into any of the four rooms will make for stunning bridal prep shots.
Having an outdoor wedding at Embassy Hill is sure to take your guests’ breath away – the gorgeous foliage is so lush that you won’t need any added decor.
