What You’ll Need
- Perspex Disks
- Vinyl Sheets with your wedding details printed
- Masking tape
- A Ruler
- Small magnets
- Super Glue
Note: The number of disks, printed sheets, and magnets will depend on your wedding guests. You can get your vinyl cuts done by most printing places and magnets at any stationery shop like PNA.
Step 1: You’re going to take your vinyl sheet, masking tape, and your ruler and you’re going to measure out on your perspex disk your vinyl sheets. When you’re ready, you stick your masking tape at the top of your disk to make sure that your vinyl doesn’t move around while you lift up your transfer paper from your vinyl. Make sure that the vinyl letters stick to the transfer paper and as you lift it up.
Step 2: Remove the vinyl sheet and gently stick the transfer paper to the perspex disc ensuring no bubbles are formed. Take your time with this! Remove the masking tape and dispose of the transfer paper.
Step 3: Flip the perspex disk over on its back and simply take two little magnets and your super glue and just stick your two magnets to the back of the perspex disk and TADA, it’s done!
You can even make your own perspex name tags. If you don’t have vinyl you can simply use an awesome sharpie pen which is an oil-based pen and can write onto perspex directly like this DIY blog.
