At Pink Book we love giving you as much wedding inspiration as possible. There was no doubt that our first shoot of the year had to draw inspiration from the Pantone Colour of 2023 – Viva Magenta!

The Venue

50 Shades of Hay is a family owned Venue for Weddings with a desire to assist the bridal couple create and enjoy their dream wedding day. At 50 Shades one will find value offered through the flexibility, hands-on nature, homely and friendly disposition of the team.

The ladies at 50 Shades came in contact with Pink Book shortly after our Wedding Vendor Workshop to assist them with a styled shoot curated for their venue as they are quite new in the industry. We jumped at the chance to get our Proudly Pink Book Vendors together to create something magical in the heart of Malmesbury.

The Dress & Suit Designer

Valencia Harrison has a simplistic elegance about her which shows through her designs. Her eye for detail and love for textures filters through her work and adds a bit of an edgy twist that she herself possesses. Her designs are filled with timeless takes on new modern trends. Which allows any bride to find her dream wedding dress at VHD Bridal Boutique.

Valencia custom designed each dress AND each suit for this specific shoot and the incredible amount of detail depicted in each outfit is nothing more than mesmerising! Her new range of wedding dresses and suits is perfect for the couple looking for something custom made to their personality all while not breaking the bank.

The Makeup & Hair

A Thing of Beauty is a boutique hair and makeup agency with co-founders and besties Rene and Amelia at the helm. Joining their combined 25 years knowledge and experience together, rest assured, you are in expert and caring hands.

A Thing of Beauty has a 360 approach and is there for your journey every step of the way. Advising on hair and makeup choices, sharing valuable tips on preparing for your event, dos, don’ts and so much more. Most importantly they are absolutely dedicated to making you look and feel amazing whatever the occasion as you can clearly see in these images!

The Florist & Decor Specialists

Salvation Jane is a floral designer, named after the Purple Echium. It is a flower, very well known to beekeepers and a beacon of hope during drought times.

The owner, Adele Lourens is a free spirit with an incredible imagination and endless creativity. This means that when she suggests something and it sounds far out, she will make it happen. She has an untameable passion for flowers, even growing her own, which keeps her grounded. Her love for vintage, moody maximalism, whimsical and even classically stylish installations shows her versatility. This is what put her in demand for most weddings.

Muse Concepts Décor Hire is a Boutique company offering décor hiring and decor sourcing services for any size event or wedding in the Western Cape.

They stock décor items that no other supplier within the Western Cape region stock. This makes them one of a kind décor company with a personal service catering to each couple. Situated in Belville industrial they are located centrally and close to all Wedding and Event Venues. Addition to décor hiring they provide wedding coordination packages which include discounted hire rates of all their decor.
