This enchanted wedding photoshoot was created high up in the Magaliesberg mountains at the stunning Steynshoop Mountain & Valley Lodge venue, the deep emerald and burnt orange colours blended effortlessly with the natural surroundings. Steynshoop Mountain Lodge is a luxury country hotel nestled in a game farm on the mountain with an “Out of Africa” feel. The charming chapel, breath-taking wedding photos and the wedding banquet in Harmony Hall all combine to give you the happiest day of your life.

WEDDING DÉCOR

The Hanging Inspiration provide the décor for this Sun-kissed Autumn styled shoot. The Hanging Inspiration believes décor is an essential element to complete the look and feel of your wedding. The Macrame Chandeliers, along with the gold candlesticks, the emerald green and burnt orange napkins, with the combination of macrame name tags from Skoonsus, fit in beautifully with the rest of the theme. It really gives that Bohemian, relaxed look.

AUTUMN WEDDING FLOWERS INSPIRATION

Die Bloemhoek. The beautiful Bohemian chic wedding bouquet with wildflowers, greenery, white king protea, make the bouquet relaxing and enchanting. The combination of the multi-coloured flowers worked well with the rustic setting of the bohemian look. The multi-coloured flowers were also repeated on the table set-up, which blends the gold and copper vases together.

The wedding cake was designed by Sweet Joy – Wedding Cakes. The cake drew inspiration from the macrame chandeliers as well as bringing in a bohemian feel by hand piping a pattern on the burnt orange hexagon tier. The flowers on the cake were make from sugar and hand crafted by Joy.

WEDDING DRESSES AND SUIT

Elna’s three-part dress designed by New Romantics offered her the flexibility to change throughout the day. Underneath the decorative mesh layer was a dark ecru lace layer which created a more sensual romantic look. Lastly, she had a more playful sexy floral dress with detachable sleeves, perfectly for sunsets by the pool. “Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world.” Nadine from New Romantics Couture.
