Breezy Summer Wedding Inspiration for Decor, Flowers & Stationery

So summer is your favourite season and it seems like the perfect time of the year to get married… Pink Book teamed up with some of the most awesome Wedding vendors in the Western Cape to bring you this super fun summer wedding theme shoot. We drew our inspiration from the beautiful scenery at Grand Africa Café & Beach Venue in Cape Town. The Pink Book team along with Lelani from Unveil Elegance worked hard to bring you this cool summer wedding inspiration shoot.

For this styled shoot, we decided to tap into the more botanical feel for the table decor as well as add some fruit elements to the table to create this extremely summer feel. This summer fun look was perfectly portrayed by Fathima and her amazing team from All Events Inc. They used fun bright summer colours with an undertone of grey to create the overall feel of this look. The element of greenery on the table really compliments the sandy venue perfectly. Hayley from Invitation Café created the absolutely stunning stationery which tied in perfectly with the summer and beachy feel of the venue as well as the palm trees surrounding the venue and beach bar. Everything tied in perfectly with the already beachy summery Venue.

The Summer Wedding Dresses, Hair & Makeup

Taryn, our absolutely stunning model wore a beautiful light pink dress with light blue florals at the bodice as well as a stunning white dress with a stunning open back all created by René Heydon from René H Couture. Each of these summer wedding dresses had their own look and feel – the white dress for a more traditional bride that like to have a classic look and the pink dress for the daring bride who likes to have loads of fun and movement when it comes to the dress. Taryn’s Hair and Makeup were done by the super talented Shana from Its Beauty by Shana who did two different looks – a more natural bronzy makeup look with the more natural bride and a more fun summer makeup look for the fun and daring bride.

This fun shoot was perfectly captured by our amazing teams of photographers and videographers. Photos were shot and edited by Stefan Steenkamp from ZaraZoo Photography and the Videography was shot by Jaun Buys from JPB Media.
