To end of our Styled Shoot Series with the best vendors in the industry we decided to bring you Simple yet amazingly elegant and modern wedding ideas for the year 2021. We don’t know what the year will hold in store for the wedding industry but we do know rules and regulations regarding social gatherings will still be among us for some time to come. For now, let’s stay positive (in spirit!) and enjoy intimate weddings with those nearest and dearest to us.

The Orchard Venue accommodates intimate weddings or larger celebrations which is way it played the perfect host to our intimate styled shoot on the gorgeous overcast day in Hartbeespoortdam.

Décor & Florals
Florals can become very expensive so keep things simple with a few bunny tails and everlasting flowers on your reception table like Dream Canvas Events did. They paired these with a few pastel pink candles and golden candle stick holders.

Bespoke Wedding Dresses & Makeup with hair
Natasha Bouma opened Bespoque Atelier in October 2018. And since then she has become a household name in the Dress Design and rental industry. Bespoque Atelier offers bespoke gowns to their clients for events and shoots. They have now recently started a small wedding capsule collection that speaks to the Modern Simplistic bride. It’s only been 2 years for their blooming business but what an incredible journey so far.
A day does not go by where she does not feel inspired and feels the need to create. She finds inspiration for her work all around her. Immersing herself into the world around her helps to get the creative juices flowing. Music, poetry and art inspires her on a daily basis.

Passionate is the one word she would use to describe herself. At Unmissable Makeup her goal is to enhance every woman she comes into contact with’s natural beauty. She did her image & style course through Sunet Vermaak, who is well known as the stylist on GlamGuru which can be seen on Kyknet. Her make-up training was completed through Jolanda Bedeker Make-up School, where she attended a number of courses.
Photographer
Photography is Schantel Merwe passion and has always been, especially people’s photography. Weddings are her favourite and she has been in the wedding industry for over 12 years, traveling to the US, London, Paris, Germany, Dubai and Greece for sessions. Her style can be described as journalistic, lifestyle, natural-light photography with an elegant, fun twist.
