This unique venue is a blank canvas just waiting for a bride to create and design a memorable day.
WEDDING DÉCOR & FLOWERS
Pronkertjie:” For the décor we wanted our table to reflect the beauty of modern styled décor items and how they can be incorporated to create a romantic timeless setting. With the assistance from All Things Wedding, we got to design something truly romantic for this shoot. The carefully selected flowers created a soft look and feel. We wanted the flowers to be romantic yet modern in style & so we opted to use blush tones with whites and creams and just a hint of gold. We used the Gold Johnny Café Chair from Reserved Exclusive to enhance the modern feel of our table setting, as well as textured glassware for a more elegant look. Modern metal candlesticks with two-tone cutlery added more modern elements to the table setting. The stationary also played a big role in how our table looked, carrying through the same style which completed the whole setting”.
Deeply Rooted Design & Laser cutting:” For this styled session we were inspired by the elegance & perfection of the concept. We chose to pair this style with Frosted Perspex & the writing in a crisp white with a touch of gold. We wanted to design something that was unique, elegant, and complimented the style perfectly. Guests always feel extra special when they are welcomed to the table with their names on a beautiful name placement. We used the same style throughout the entire session from the Welcome sign, to the most beautiful Invites with handmade paper and of course a Custom cake topper with our couples names”.
BRIDAL HAIR AND MAKE-UP
Hair & Makeup by Liesl:” We wanted to keep the hair & makeup for this Lost in Blush shoot very soft & romantic, but with a modern twist. We did beautiful soft wavy curls to one side with a gorgeous diamant hair comb to add a bit of romance. We chose a subtle pink lip and used mauve and pink blush tones with long lashes and a more dramatic eyeliner to really enhance the beauty within her eyes”.
BLUSH WEDDING DRESS
Natasha looked absolutely ravishing wearing a delicate Textured blush wedding gown designed by Marlize Meeding, while Marchant wore a simple black suit. The bouquet was filled with delicate flowers to create a sense of romance; such as white peonies, blush roses and a hint of gold leaves. The bouquet was finished off with hand coloured chiffon ribbon that really stood out against her textured blush dress.
THE WEDDING CAKE
Melinda’s Kitchen:” For this shoot I wanted to create a cake that was modern, yet romantic to suit the look and feel of the styled shoot. I decided to design a four-tiered cake that would create an elegant look. Each tier consisted out of different heights. The top tier had a smooth white ganache, followed by a tier with torn rice paper to add some texture. Blush desiccated coconut was used on the next tier and the bottom tier was covered with a soft blush coloured marble fondant. Everything was finished off with blush pink and cream roses that added to the romantic feel”.
