Wedding Decor Art Deco Inspiration

Mizelle said she felt so honoured to have worked with Carmen from Bellflower Studios who created the concept. The gold mines were established in the late Victorian era. When the Art Deco era evolved shortly after that the economy of the East Rand boomed and Art Deco became a prominent style for architecture and design. A nude colour palette with gold was used together with Art Deco shapes and styles. The design was focused on being an art installation more than a traditional wedding concept.

Wedding Dress Inspiration

Mizelle has always wanted to photograph one of Estelle Visser Designs’ masterpieces and when she showed her the dress; Mizelle was in love. It was exactly what she was looking for and the sleeves are to die for! She is so talented and Mizelle would definitely recommend her to all brides.

Bridal Hair & Makeup Inspiration

“For Danielle’s makeup, we wanted to go for natural, soft tones to fit in with the theme and enhance her natural beauty which was done by Nelizé from The Ultimate Image. Charlize from C-Morr Hair Artist created the most beautiful natural curls and hairstyling. Jessica from La Haltejo Boutique created an ombre acrylic set on Danielle’s nails.

Wedding Cake & Stationery Inspiration

Dirty Peach designed such a stunning cake with the most interesting textures for the shoot and Something Fresh Designs designed the stationary which suited the theme perfectly.
