Ansu Makeup Artistry organized this beautiful European Garden inspired bridal styled shoot. This styled shoot was heavily inspired by classic European influences, to evoke the feeling of a classical romance.

Ansulette and Liane Erasmus created soft and details makeup and hair looks. They focused on the incorporation of pearl accents. Ansu Makeup Artistry is a professional makeup artist in Durbanville, specializing in bridal makeup. Liané is a hairstylist and makeup artist in Cape Town, but focused on the hairstyling for this bridal styled shoot.

Wedding Décor & Flowers

Baie Goeters provided classic and antique furniture to go with the theme. Baie Goeters is a team of décor stylists situated in Wellington, Cape Town. They are known for using “old things” and turning them into brand new, and beautiful statement pieces. Their couches especially tied everything together to create a beautiful antique look to the set.

Zaan Kultuur Event Flowers is a florist situated in Stellenbosch, and is known for creating free-flowing floral designs. Her floral arrangements are intended to look like it could’ve been found in nature. Her beautifully organic style added to the European Garden inspiration, and brought the set to life! She used white florals, and lots of greenery in ohmage to white statues and structures often found in formal European gardens.

Wedding Venue

The Silo & Shed is one of the hidden gems in Stellenbosch. Tucked away in the winelands, this working farm hosts a charming venue for small events. “What drew us to this venue is the beautifully textured walls and the large windows. Fynbos Bridal Boutique provides wedding dresses in Durbanville. Their classic silhouettes emulated the ball gown shape seen in historic Europe, and further tied into classical undercurrent of the styled shoot.

Alec Roux Couture is a wedding dress designer in Melkbosstrand. His designs are detailed and feminine, perfectly capturing the romantic essence of the bridal styled shoot.

By Rouvierre did the photography for the styled shoot. Her editing of the photo’s was inspired by sepia-toned photographs, to create an “old” and warm feeling to the final product.”
