Who doesn’t love Christmas? It is the most wonderful time of the year. Family comes together and everyone is joyful and in a celebratory mood. Sweet Joy Wedding Cakes wanted to combine the wonder of Christmas with the Joy of a wedding so they got some of the best suppliers in Gauteng together and created a stylish Christmas Wedding Inspiration Styled Shoot.

They started with the main colour theme which were traditional Christmas colours such as reds, greens and golds.

Wedding Table Inspiration

Cafe Fleur created an elegant table setting with gorgeous flower arrangements and Sweet Joy wedding cakes created a gorgeous emerald green wedding cake with burgundy sugar flowers and a gold wreath to subtlety capture the spirit of Christmas while still looking like a wedding cake. Scribbled created stationary for shoot.

Bridal Gown and Groom Attire

The bride’s and bridesmaids hair and make up were done by Tami James MUA and the dresses were supplied by Nicha clothing. The bridesmaids dress colours were also chosen in red and green to continue the Christmas theme, Ginger hand maid sa supplied some gorgeous hand made earrings to complete the look.

The team wanted to really give the groom some spotlight in this Christmas Wedding Inspiration Shoot so they asked London Royal to create a luxurious emerald green suit. The attention to detail was incredible.

Finally the styled shoot was captured by the incredible husband and wife duo of Light Flare photography who created a light and airy Christmas feel to the shoot with their unique editing style and eye for details.
