Conceptualised by the creative team at My Pretty Vintage, this styled shoot was a creative explosion of colour looking to inject fun into any couple’s special day! The idea of (slightly) crazy, mismatched elements and bursts of colour were the true heroes of the day.
Styling & Coordination:
Taking a vision and turning it into a reality comes pretty naturally to the Stark Events team and this is exactly how this shoot came about. After being presented by the idea of an eclectic styled shoot, they got onto what they do best – planning and coordinating.
After carefully selecting each service provider, this dream team collaborated, styled and executed an exceptionally vibrant styled shoot, which seemed to have won the hearts of many!
Venue:
Colorbox Studios was the ideal space for this out-of-the-box colourful wedding theme. Having the perfect balance between minimalistic and industrial, this creative event space has immense character and was the perfect choice for. The team loved that the venue has many possibilities and lends itself to many photo opportunities.
Concept, Décor & Florals:
No stranger to the wedding industry, My Pretty Vintage is known for their exceptional floral styling and range of beautifully selected colourful wedding theme vintage décor. This powerhouse team dreamt up a winning styled shoot concept and bought their A-game with vibrant florals and décor to compliment the vision of the shoot. The ladies from My Pretty Vintage bring an energy to any event that is just so infectious to be around and this styled shoot was no exception. 
Photographers:
Christine and Lize’s professionalism, attention to detail and pure talent can be seen in each photograph. These powerhouse females captured each detail so perfectly. In other words, documented the whole vision with so much energy and love.
Groom’s Attire:
This styled shoot required bold, creative, and most importantly, a visionary to create a stylish look for the groom. There was no doubt that Frank Bespoke would fulfill this brief to the tee and they sure delivered on all expectations. The groom was kitted out in an emerald suit and stylish accessories to match. The team wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!
Wedding Dress:
An incredible ombre styled dress of lavender and pinks set the tone for the bride’s look. This dress was the perfect fit for the brief – playful, fun yet incredibly attractive and accentuating.
Bridal Accessories:
The bridal accessories from hairpieces, to jewelry and shoes, are swoon-worthy statement pieces, which will elevate any outfit. Each piece complimented the bride’s look so well and provided the perfect balance of glam and romance.
Hair & Makeup:
Nicole from Oulik Vroulik kept things simple makeup-wise but added a beautiful bright pink lip, which added the perfect pop of colour to the bride’s wedding day look. Playful, yet flirty, her bold lip was paired with natural curls, which were side-swept and accentuated with accessories from The Adore Collection.
Speciality Furniture:
Baie Goeters came on board because they have a wide variety of luxurious lounge furniture which complemented the brief so well. The ochre couch, especially, was a definite winner and the perfect statement piece of furniture of any celebratory event!
Stationery:
Carla from Secret Diary is a true visionary and her approach to wedding stationery. Together with her team, Carla created the most incredible invitation suite combined with menus, a table number and beautiful name tags. The team absolutely adored the use of colour and design to create something so unique and special to fit the colourful wedding theme.
Wedding Cake:
Anmar is absolutely creative and took the brief to create something extraordinary. The end product was nothing short of spectacular – a bottle green red velvet tiered cake that matched the groom’s suit was perfectly adorned by gold detailing and fondant hearts.
