The concept for this styled shoot was City Chic Elopement By Larry September. The team had 3 sessions, each shot at various parts of the City. They started at a magnificent Edwardian-inspired location, where the focus was on textures, light, and natural beauty.

Larry September Photography prides himself on capturing raw, authentic emotions, rather than overly staged poses. Bridal Hair & Makeup

The model Nicole Faria’s hair was done by Pearl Artistry and her makeup by Blush Make up and Hair Services by Alicia Spamer Yul. The soft curls and pearl hair pin, soft makeup with a pop of red lipstick looked elegant and suited the city chic vibe. Not to much but just enough….

Bridal Bouquet

Flowers by Arlene provided the bridal bouquet that looked amazing with dark and light pinks and some lovely white orchids.

They made use of another historical gem, The Company Gardens, a fairly public and busy location. With that being said we visualized, compromised, and improvised our way throughout the Gardens. Once again the ever gracious Nicole, the model bride was able to effortlessly portray the CHIC part of the series, which highlighted the lush greenery but in an ethereal way.

Cape Town Streets Bridal Shoot

For the series finale, the team took it to the streets of Cape Town. In between the car hoots and lots of hello’s (a true testament to the Mother City’s friendliness), once again managed to encapsulate Larry’s vision. For this session, Nicole was the absolute face of serenity, simply floating throughout the streets as if she owned it. Quite literally, she had cars stop dead in their tracks. I feel like this session truly accentuated every vendor’s contribution, from the dress to the hair, makeup, and flowers.
