Wedding Venue
Burkleigh House played the perfect host for this styled shoot with its glass-roofed conservatory reception venue which opens up fully onto the beautiful garden surroundings. The statement crystal chandelier finished off the elegant design to create a dramatically romantic setting and tying in perfectly with the crystal pieces on the table.
Wedding flowers and decor
For the flowers and decor Weddings by Esmie went for a really soft look, very neutral colours with just a touch of white and pink to bring in the cherry blossom tones and then with the table setting they put in a lot of crystal to reflect the white and various pink hues so you ultimately have a simple table but very elegant.
Wedding gowns
The Dresses were supplied by Elli Nicole. Elli-Nicole Bridal was started with a conversation between her future sister in law and her, she was getting married and couldn’t find anything she liked, she asked her to make her gown. Somewhere between mild panic and elation, she said yes, it is true what they say that your passion finds you. That was 5 years ago and from there she was hooked. It’s been such a fulfilling journey and she is truly blessed to be able to share her craft with others.
Wedding Theme
When deciding on a theme the bride needs to think about the type of venue her theme would work in. There is no use at looking at a industrial style venue when going with a cherry blossom theme like this for example, it just wouldn’t fit. Also ensure you choose a theme that matches you and your fiancés’ personality. This theme in particular is for a more girly-bride and enjoys the simplicity of the crystals and gold with pearls and blossoms.
Artificial Wedding Flowers
The pro is they are a lot more cost-effective than real, fresh flowers and you can use them over and over again whereas the con is that you have to be very careful with your placement of them. If you put them in direct sunlight for to long your guests will be able to see that they are fake and come across as “cheap.” You also need to ensure that your photographer knows how to capture artificial flowers otherwise they will not look great on your wedding photos and no one wants that.
