Real Wedding: An Intimate Elopement in Czech Republic
A beautiful intimate elopement story as told by Cr8tive Duo. When Denisa (the bride) contacted me, asking if I could shoot her secret autumn elopement, she told me that it would be a very intimate wedding, with only five guests attending and that included myself. I was over the moon at the idea of shooting such an intimate elopement, as my previous elopement weddings consisted of ten people or more. It didn’t take me very long to think about it and so I immediately said yes :).
I absolutely love elopements/intimate weddings. It is such a romantic and unique way to make your marriage official. Intimate weddings give a couple the opportunity to be entirely in the moment with each other and this makes the whole experience so much more special. I always feel that elopements help to focus on the couple and ensure that there aren’t any unnecessary distractions or any frustrations, that often come from planning a big wedding and the wedding day itself.
It’s simply just about those two most important people and their love and that in itself is why I truly do love to shoot very intimate weddings.
This wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful Chateau Belcredi in Brno, Czech Republic at the end of the autumn season in November 2018.
Even though it may have been still autumn, it is safe to say that it was a bit cold, but with the cold came the mist. The mist on their special day was absolutely beautiful and transformed the landscape in such a way that helped bring out such a moody feeling, which I am sure you can feel from the photos.
I cherish wedding photoshoots like these, because not only do I get to know the couple on a more intimate level, I also get to pour all my attention into my photography. As a result, I always manage to get such special photos, that the couple can hold dear to them forever.
