The Venue

Bridesmaids Dresses

The bridesmaids’ dresses were custom made by Mrs. Rose with floral print that complemented her colour scheme. They used those same colours throughout the wedding to tie it all together, right down to the groom’s dark green suit.

The Wedding Bouquet

Bride Carla: “It was such an amazing experience to work with Pronkertjie. They went above and beyond. It was so pleasant to work with them as they completely captured my vision. The decor was simplistic yet striking and the flower arrangements were everything I wished for and more. My ultimate favourite was my beautiful bouquet as it had peonies and orchids. Looking back, it all happened the way it was supposed to, I wouldn’t change a thing”.

Pre-Reception Entertainment

At the pre-reception guests got to enjoy a live entertainment by Titus Music, some unexpected thunder showers and a harvest table prepared by the venue with the most incredible selection of artisanal breads and cheeses. Melinda’s Kitchen made sure guests had something sweet in their hand with a beautiful two-tiered blush wedding cake, with gorgeous bright florals and textured buttercream finishes.

The Wedding Photographer

Lizelle from Pronkertjie: “I was so excited to hear that Carla and Christiaan chose Maresha-Lee for their photos, her photography style is timeless and has a more editorial look which was a perfect fit
for this wedding. Having a photographer whose style is in line with not only that of the venue, but also the style of the wedding – its pure gold!”

Wedding Flowers & Decor

Carla wanted her flowers and décor to compliment Ever Be, keeping with the modern industrial style, yet very classic and elegant. “We used a light tulle table runner with décor items in glass, metal, and cement candleholders to enhance the industrial style of their wedding.” Lizlle, Pronkertjie

Carla wanted her flowers to be colourful, mostly dark with hints of softer coloured flowers to add romance. Pairing dark greenery with shades of pink, mauve and copper-coloured roses we were able to add contrast and create interest. We used a selection of orchids, tulips, arums and anthuriums to emphasize the modern minimalist style which Pronkertjie is known for.

Carla: “As a newlywed bride I know it can be such a stressful time, but don’t ever forget to enjoy the journey. Make sure you set up a budget, its not always possible to stick with it. But it is a good indication of what you would like to spend where. It is also important to make your significant other part of the journey. My husband really enjoyed planning with me, and it really made the experience more pleasant”.
