Cavalli Estate played host to this indulgent event, with the Winelands in the background creating an incredible backdrop for the international attendees. The girls got ready at the stunning Majeka House. Ijeoma stunned in jaw-dropping diamond jewellery and flawless makeup by Clara Banx. Her winged silver heels remind us of the Greek Goddess Athena, ready to take flight! Kunle and the boys got ready at Icon Luxury Apartments in Cape Town. We simply love the contrast between edgy and classic. So chic!
The ceremony setup was quite unusual, having the couple right in the middle, with their guests having a 360-degree view of the nuptials. We think this is such a good idea, and will surely start trending soon! Predrinks were held in the garden, with lounge pockets scattered everywhere for the guests to mingle and play some lawn games while sipping on Moët Chandon.
The tables were adorned with abundant flowers, tulips and orchids stealing the show and plenty of candles at different heights to add some drama. The magnificent hanging chandeliers added that touch of splendour and opulence.
Shades of reds and pinks dominated the day, and we love the idea of a large bridal party wearing different colours and styles. It makes everyone stand out more and gives the opportunity to express some personal style but no one could outshine Ijeoma in her stunning crisp white gown! We love that Ijeoma and Kunle let their personalities shine in their pictures – so sassy! It’s good to remember that your wedding photos don’t have to be super serious and ultra-posed – these are the memories you will hold dearest.
The guests were treated to a hearty meal, leaving everyone satisfied and happy. We really can’t understate how important it is to not skimp on your catering. Guests will remember and talk about the food forever – make sure they have nice things to say!
Ijeoma’s second dress stunned with intricate lace and beading detail and a train to die for – which made their first dance something worth looking at.
