Adventurous Lake Como Wedding by ZaraZoo Photography
Lake Como, in Italy, is a popular wedding destination – and with good reason! Local photographers, ZaraZoo Photography, had the privilege to spend a week capturing this fun-filled celebration with lovely couple Jo and Jason. From the stunning wedding ceremony to the week-long festivities with their closest friends and family, this whole wedding was a dream come true. Main photographer, Stefan, tells us more:
A Dream Destination Wedding at Lake Como
Jo and Jason’s Lake Como Destination wedding was the most fun I have had in my wedding photography career of 16 years! Imagine spending a week with your closest family and friends, in one of the most exotic locations on earth, all while celebrating non-stop! This is exactly what Jo and Jason had in mind when they dreamed about their wedding. That dream became a reality in June.
The couple rented a Villa, in Lake Como, big enough to fit all 28 of their wedding guests. Everyone got to spend the lovely summer week in the pool, partying together and celebrating with the charming couple.
After their romantic wedding ceremony, the couple decided to take a leap into married life, literally. They both jumped into the lake, still wearing their suit and wedding dress! This really summed up their personalities – fun-loving and adventurous. Afterwards, everyone changed out of their formal-wear and hopped onto a ferry to go to the reception hall where they partied the night away. For the next few days, everyone spent their time relaxing at a local beach and renting a ski boat to do a bit of wake-boarding.
This really was a one-of-a-kind adventurous wedding. We’re so stoked to have been part of this special time with them. Every wedding should be like this!
