A Timeless Wedding By IdoLife Photography
A Timeless Wedding
Joané and Marius’s special day can be described as a timeless wedding! Joané got ready at her parents’ house in Stellenbosch where Joané had grown up surrounded by love and laughter. The warmth, excitement and love of this close knit and caring family could be felt everywhere.
Stellenbosch Wedding Venue
The couple chose the beautiful De Ouwe Klok Vlottenburg, just outside Stellenbosch, as their venue for the wedding ceremony and reception. De Ouwe Klok is the perfect wedding setting for a timeless wedding.

Unique Ceremony Entrance
Rather than having a large wedding party Joané opted, in true fairy tale style, to surprise the wedding guest by arriving on a beautiful white horse, Robby. Robby carried her gracefully down the aisle. Joané carried a bouquet of roses, beautifully arranged by her father, Johannes.
Rain On Your Wedding Day
They say that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck and a blessing. This marriage will surely be blessed. Halfway through the ceremony dark clouds gathered in the sky and the heavens opened with a shower. Luckily the bride and groom could step in under the gazebo at the ceremony area for some shelter.

Father Of The Bride
The ceremony area and reception hall was beautifully decorated with pennygum and roses. This was also the beautiful hand work of Joané’s father.
DIY Bride
The wedding cake was beautifully decorated by the bride herself.
The Newlyweds
The couple chose to setup a black and white dance floor. Why? The newlyweds entered the reception hall opening the dance floor with a graceful waltz, moving in sync with each other. The father and daughter dance were very special and brought a tear or two to our eyes.
