Doing the Floral Design, Décor Styling, Planning and Coordination for Chanté and Ruan’s wedding; has filled Cachet Creative with an overwhelming amount of gratitude. For the wedding, the couple decided on an all-white floral with black décor accents and then red floral for the bride’s bouquet.

Chanté bought a Lillian West wedding gown from Bridal Manor. This fit and flare wedding gown is covered in geometric lace that creates a one-of-a-kind design; while the shapewear mesh lining ensures a perfect fit.

The Forest Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony location was in the venue’s forest area with an wooden arch at the alter which had a asymmetrical floral design and red petals for the confetti. The floral they made use of in their designs were dreamy clouds of babies breath; exquisite white phalaenopsis orchids; white scent O’Hara roses; preserved amaranthus; various other textured white floral.

Elegant Bridal Hair

Marcél Engelbrecht from Maxwell Haus Hair Studio did Chanté’s hair for her special day. Chanté is one of their loyal clients & they were honored when she asked them to join her on their special day. Marcél have been preparing her hair for more than a year and with every session she shared updates on how the wedding planning is going. Marcél could see how excited she was getting as the wedding day got closer & it was magical to finally see her looking so beautiful on the day. Definitely one of the most beautiful brides hair she has ever done.

The Reception

The newly constructed farm Smitsfield Wedding Venue was designed and built by the family themselves, and their exceptional attention to detail captures the perfect balance between an industrial, factory-like feel and the warmth of the countryside. The venue has many unique features, such as 4-meter high industrial steel windows, 4 different fireplaces, 2 industrial wood burners and a cash bar that brings the old and the new together. Custom-designed steel and leather chairs, as well as custom-designed wood and steel tables form part of this exquisite venue.

Cachet used orchid arrangements in glass black frame hurricane vases; black napkins, black cutlery and an abundance of high and low candlelight, creating a perfect romantic and moody ambiance. They then created a statement piece by doing a hanging installation right above the sweetheart table to complete the luxurious look for the reception.

Elegant Dark Wedding Stationary

Gerda Studio designed and produced the stationery and signage for Chanté’ and Ruan’s wedding. A modern style was combined with dark colours and soft touches to create a strong, yet elegant look for their wedding. Inspired by the couple’s sensibility, their vision was brought to life with designs evoking feelings of warmth, romance, and intimacy.
