Skilpadvlei Wine Farm is a fourth generation, family owned wine estate on Polkadraai Road in Stellenbosch, founded by the Joubert family in 1917 and still run today by Willie Joubert.
The farm offers couples a wedding venue with no venue fee, with receptions hosted in the ML Joubert Hall and a choice of two ceremony locations on the property, one overlooking the dam and the other set in front of the historic manor house.
On site guest house accommodation means wedding parties and guests can stay right on the farm for the full weekend, and the estate’s own restaurant and wine tastings let couples build out a complete wedding experience without ever leaving the property. With over a century of winemaking heritage behind it, Skilpadvlei brings genuine family warmth to every wedding it hosts.
