Located in the picturesque Witzenberg Valley, just an hour and a half outside of Cape Town, Olive Rock provides the perfect setting for unforgettable weddings and conferences. Inspired by its sweeping natural surrounds, the design incorporates a simple yet elegant multilevel space that comfortably accommodates both intimate gatherings and private functions with up to 200 guests.

Framed by rolling green hills and graceful mountain peaks, every aspect of Olive Rock has been carefully designed to fit seamlessly into the natural surrounds. From the expansive multilevel lawns and lush gardens to the rippling river frontage, there is no shortage of magical spaces where happy memories can be made. Olive Rock can easily shift from hosting intimate indoor functions to comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests under the Bedouin marquee. For balmy summer nights, forgo the marquee and enjoy an open-air wedding, with draped cabana’s fashioning mediterranean charm under an enchanting fairy-light sky.

Olive Rock is fully off grid with a massive solar power system, back up batteries and a generator. It is also pet friendly on request, and a wheel-chair friendly venue.

Nick Stanford, the talented in-house chef, has almost twenty years experience in the creation of exquisite dishes guaranteed to please even the most discerning palates. From delicate canapés and starters to mouth-watering main courses and desserts, every dish is carefully crafted to create a perfect balance of flavours that looks as good as it tastes.
