Kuthaba Bush Lodge is an exclusive destination wedding venue, hosting only one wedding group at a time to ensure complete privacy and a truly personalised experience. The venue caters for up to 102 wedding guests. With cosy on-site accommodation available for up to 80 guests across four unique accommodation styles.
Guests can relax and enjoy the centrally located Guest Lounge & Kitchen area, featuring a self-catering braai area, infinity pool, bonfire area, and breathtaking views of the surrounding reserve and mountains.
Wedding ceremonies can be held either at the spectacular Cliff Ceremony Site or beneath the majestic Wild Fig Tree. Canapés served on the deck at the Main Lodge overlooking the bushveld scenery. Receptions take place in the unique Reception Boma, designed with a central bonfire, river-sand seating area, and open-air setting beneath the stars, perfectly complementing the venue’s rustic African bush atmosphere.
The adjoining bar, buffet, and dance floor area is sheltered under a beautiful thatch roof. The seating area can be enclosed with a marquee-style retractable roof in the event of rain — offering the perfect balance between open-air elegance and covered comfort.
Set within a private game reserve environment, guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, including giraffe, zebra, antelope, and many bird species. The natural surroundings create unforgettable photographic opportunities. Giraffes often appear in wedding photographs, adding a truly magical African safari element to your special day.
