Suzy Slabbert is the heart and hands behind LilyBelle makeup artistry. The expression, “Be your own kind of beautiful” were the words that inspired her to start LilyBelle.

Women are the culmination of God’s creation, and He said, “It is VERY good”. The problem is that the lens of the media on how a woman should be and look, makes us not always believe how beautiful and wonderful we are made. LilyBelle offers her an opportunity to make a difference in women’s lives, to help them see themselves through the eyes of their creator, and to realize that they are truly wonderful and beautiful in every sense of the word.

Throughout the eight years of Lilybelle’s existence, Suzy has learned that it’s not just about applying makeup, but that it’s even more about making a woman feel better about herself, that she’s worthy, that she’s beautiful, and can take on the world with confidence.

For Suzy, doing make-up is about the “personal touch”, making a bride feel like a princess on her special day, being there for her, and helping where I can to make the day effortless and special.
