Founder Dianne Smith of Dolly Cut Fashions & Gifts has always had the interest and love for fashion. Her experience in this industry started when she herself always had to design her own beautiful gowns suitable for her beauty pageants or functions she had to attend after being crowned with a few special titles.

Her experience and achievements in the modelling world as model and her TV appearances, also started from photogenic to ramp modelling in advertising well known designer outfits. TV work in appearing in a few well known programs such as Egoli, Binnelanders, music videos and TV commercials. TV commercials with Francois Pienaar, Ryk Neetling in the LAYS advert, DSTV, Coca-Cola, Lion Lager, Dischem etc.

Dianne has been in the bridal/fashion industry ever since she started her modelling & pageant career. In receiving the BEST DESIGNERS AWARD in the Mrs. SA pageant has proved her eye and ability for exquisite designs.

Dianne has also been invited as speaker at several functions over the years in uplifting the youth and being a motivational speaker at several ladies meetings.

Her experience in the Bridal industry has started 20 years ago and her love for dressing brides brings a joy and fulfilment that shows her love for new and different designs.

She admits in having the gift of knowing what would suit a bride before she even fits any dresses! But very important is to let each bride choose her dream dress as she always wanted and to respect her decision!

We also specialize in custom making in letting the bride personalize her design before her dress gets made. So we allow her to make changes to our existing designs.
