THE TABLECLOTH HIRING COMPANY was founded by Deborah Donnelly in Cape Town almost 20 years ago. This specialist company offer decor, linen and tablecloth hire for weddings and events. Recently Jo Ohlson de Fine, with 30 varied years in the Event Industry has come on board, and together these ladies keep the business current and innovative with a friendly, helpful approach.

With a keen eye and passion for fabrics, colour and texture, they have grown the business from a small home industry to a business with 4 branches and 2 agencies across South Africa.

The business supplies the Event Industry, as well as the man in the street, on a National basis, as they also deliver orders all over South Africa. Being specialists, the stock range is vast, both in terms of quantities and in terms of colours, textures, prints and themes to cater for Corporate Events, Weddings and any other sort of event, no matter how big or small, plain or extravagant, classic or quirky.

The Company understands the importance of the visual impact that linen has at an event. They are considered leaders in their field as they are always coming up with new products to assist their clients in getting the exact look that they want. This includes many new, smaller fabric items which soften wooden tables which do not require tablecloths and introduces a colour or theme to the table.

Tablecloth Hiring does all their own manufacturing and 24 hr a day laundering, so that they can increase turn around times and improve Quality Control. Each branch has a dedicated area for clients to come in, with their own decor, to do mock ups and finalise their orders. They do not charge for sampling when required.

The company is proud of their 53 dedicated and friendly staff, most of whom carry long service certificates and who are renowned for going that extra mile for their clients.

NEW SISTER COMPANY, CHINA BLUE, is a fabulous range of items in all shades of blue and white.

You can either pick a bigger range like the famous Willow pattern or you can mix and match your event, table by table or all different place settings. The ranges have been further separated into classical blue and whites, more turquoise/retro/tropical looks, seaside, baby blue and white. There is also a rich navy/gold and white, Chinese and a Mediterranean range. This Range compliments the Tablecloth Range enormously.
