Leigh personally designs and creates beautiful, exclusive wedding cakes, made with only the finest fresh ingredients. Which ensure that they taste every bit as wonderful as they look.
She has always had a passion for the culinary arts, and in 2016, she decided to combine her love of baking with her creative flair. She opened her Cake Business, quickly gaining recognition and success within the industry. Leigh firmly believes that every wedding cake should be as special and unique as the bride and groom. Leigh prides herself on giving the highest quality client service. Right from the initial enquiry through to the consultation, design, delivering and setting up of her cakes at the venue.
Every crumb and decoration is lovingly hand made, and Leigh spends months carefully making the beautiful, delicate sugar flowers which adorn her creations. Cakes are baked with butter and fresh wholesome eggs, sandwiched together with delicious fruit purees and light Swiss Meringue Buttercream, and covered in silky smooth Fondant or Buttercream… or they may be naked or semi naked.
A dessert table is a popular request by clients, and a majestic croquembouche tower, cupcakes, cake pops and featherlight meringues are among the many tantalising delicacies on offer from Leigh’s kitchen. Flour of Love Wedding Confectionary offers tastings on order once a month, and delivers cakes within the Midlands area. In order to ensure adequate time to create a masterpiece, a lead time of at least two months is usually required.
