At Baked By Angie, all wedding celebration cakes are made using quality ingredients; time-tested recipes and loads of love and passion to ensure that your wedding cake is a truly spectacular centerpiece on your wedding day. Angie uses fresh fruits, free-range eggs; stone-ground flour; natural flavours, liqueurs, butter and Belgian chocolate in her cakes.
A wedding cake should not only taste as good as it looks, but it has the added factor of needing to travel well and stand at the venue for long periods of time before serving, so all cakes have been trialed and tested over many years to ensure that they do just that.
Angie has a 3-year Grande Diploma in Cordon Bleus Cookery and has drawn on all her experience as a pastry chef both in the 5-star hotel industry and after having made hundreds of wedding cakes over a span of 13 years, while she was the owner of Vanilla House Patisserie. So you can rest assured that all cakes not only look and taste great but travel and last through the day extremely well.

Angie personally designs and makes every wedding cake to suit her clients’ individual needs and specializes in cakes with finishes ranging from the traditional fondant-iced cakes and trendy buttercream finishes, to contemporary chocolate styled cakes. Consultations are held on Mondays and are approximately 30 minutes each with time slots ranging from 11 AM to 6:30 PM. Four standard tasting samples are provided at the consultation, are complimentary and are done by appointment only. To help with the cake design process, it’s important to bring along with you as much information as possible. This helps her to get an insight into your personality and understand your thoughts, ideas, and styles so that Angie can create the perfect wedding cake for your special day.
