Description
Marriage Officer Cape Town
Thank you for considering Greg the marriage officer to be a part of the most beautiful and special day in your life. His aim is always to bring warmth, tranquillity, light-hearted humor yet with a professional touch with every marriage ceremony. Each wedding is unique as far as he is concerned and you are welcome to suggest any of your ideas or requests to add and customize exactly the way you would like to have things done. Or you can just leave everything to his expertise and years of experience. He is a registered Marriage Officer at Dept. Home Affairs, he is also a pastor and will conduct your marriage to your requirements:
- Anywhere, anytime (no red tape)
- Religious or non-religious
- English or Afrikaans
- Traditional or own vows
- Only paperwork – no ceremony (if you plan to have the ceremony at a later date, have your own pastor or you had your traditional wedding already)
SA Citizens or Foreigners (if all of your paperwork is in order) – He will assist with a step by step procedure for all foreigners who wish to marry a SA Citizen or another foreigner. He has a close relationship with Home Affairs and knows exactly what they require. He submits all your documents in person to DHA and issues your abridged marriage certificate and copies of your registration papers on the day. Why go on the long waiting list at DHA or have a “cold” marriage at a Magistrate Court when you can do it wherever and whenever you want?
So what happens after the wedding is done?
He needs to submit all your paperwork at the Dept. of Home Affairs (Bellville where he is registered) within 3 working days for registration. The waiting period for your marriage to be registered depends on quite a few things: workload at Home affairs; Divorce orders to be cleared, foreign documents to be verified etc . you may follow up on 0800601190- (DHA Toll-Free number)
He has more than 20 years’ experience in helping loving couples tying the knot.
Reviews
“Mr Otto made our wedding ceremony a moment that we will always cherish. It was conducted so beautifully with words of wisdom and guidance that we will apply to our marriage. Our wedding took place at the beautiful Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve in Cederberg. Mr Otto and his wife embarked on a very long journey and came all the way from Cape Town to wed us as husband and wife.
After a 4-hour drive that included a bumpy 35km gravel road they still welcomed us with so much warmth and excitement for our big day. We firmly believe that Mr Otto was meant to be the one to unite our union and meeting Mr & Mrs Otto was part of our journey. With heartfelt thanks we appreciate all the effort and for the beautiful and unforgettable ceremony.” Best Regards,Mr & Mrs Daniels.
Unfortunately, he is not licensed to do same-sex marriages yet.
All marriages of Asylum seekers or Refugees can unfortunately only be done at a DHA office.
Please contact him for more information or assistance. Thank you.
