That’s easy! Their owner, Mareli, has a range of experience from studying at the Institute of Culinary Arts in Stellenbosch to being a food stylist assistant at a food photography company where Woolworths was one of their biggest clients. After that, she was the Head Pastry Chef at 5-star Delaire Graff Restaurant for a few years where she learnt the importance of real butter, a whole teaspoon of salt, couverture chocolate and attention to detail. Mix that with a whole lotta love and passion and you’ve got yourself a winner recipe!

-Rose and vanilla sponge cake with champagne swiss meringue buttercream filling and covered in toasted rose meringue.

-Decadent moist pistachio cake filled with pistachio curd and covered in dark chocolate ganache.
