Getting married in the West Coast offers many an intimate setting for that special day.
On the edge of the sea, Sea Trader is ideally designed, offering privacy and a romantic ambience! Glass sliding doors open onto the beach – providing space for a lovely wedding ceremony, under an authentic gazebo with extensive views of the ocean.
Their wooden deck is an extension of the restaurant and offers a comfortable area for wedding guests to take their seats and witness the couple exchanging wedding vows.
Alternatively, you can make your entrance through the large crafted, wooden doors into our venue/main hall for your ceremony and celebrations.
The openness and height of the venue provide you with the opportunity to let your imagination run wild. You can create virtually any mood in the area provided.
They offer a menu that specialises in traditional South-African cuisine. Corene and her team cater for any number of guests from 50 – 180. A buffet at R320.00 per head or plated menu at R330.00 per head. The venue has a built in dance floor, and a mini-stage, suitable for your MC, DJ or entertainer.
Corkage of only R20 per bottle wine is charged. As a wedding gift from management, no corkage is charged on the champagne. The Bar at Sea Trader is fully licensed. Waiters, ice and glasses are offered at no extra cost. Sea Trader also offers luxury, self-catering accommodation, within 30 meters of Sea Trader Wedding Venue. It is the ideal accommodation for the Bridal Party, and a great honeymoon spot too!
There are 4 luxury self-catering units with a private patio and braai facility – perfect for those balmy evenings where you can relax with friends or loved ones. Each of the units has its own LCD flat screen TV, with selected DStv channels. There is also a mini kitchenette with a bar fridge and microwave oven, for those nights you don’t wish to braai.
