Winelands Wedding Venue

Rawsonville Wedding Venue Opstal Estate and Restaurant is a destination Winelands Wedding Venue that tailor-makes Weddings to suit each and every Bride and Groom. Surrounded by vineyards and offering breath-taking views of the Drakenstein Mountains; Opstal is situated in the picturesque Slanghoek Valley, approximately 80km from Cape Town in the direction of Worcester.

Opstal offers the choice of an Outdoor Ceremony Venue with a Bedouin Tent looking down on the vineyards, or a more intimate Indoor Ceremony in the Cellar that produces top-quality wines, including the 5 Star Platter Rated Carl Everson Chenin Blanc. A Bedouin tent can be erected for an Outside Venue with stunning sunset views for a larger reception of up to 250 people. More intimate receptions of up to 120 people can be held in the Indoor Venue inside the Restaurant.

The Restaurant charms guests with its classic interior complete with cosy fireplace, wooden dance-floor, and entrance fountain, and also offers an outdoor jungle-gym to keep younger guests entertained. Brides-to-be have a large variety of dishes to choose from which can be served plated by friendly white-gloved waitrons or in a buffet-style.

Opstal Estate produces wines certain to suit any Wedding; from the easy-drinking Sixpence range to the food-orientated Opstal range, and of course, no wedding is complete without a delicious, fresh Sparkling wine and Dessert wines to round off the meal. Opstal Estate and Restaurant warmly invites you to visit their website to view photos of the Estate or to make an appointment to see the Estate.
