Johannesburg Wedding Flowers
She often heard the phrase “nature versus nurture”, and wondered if talent could be passed down or learnt? Sandi grew up watching her mother, spending countless hours creating dresses for brides and bridesmaids, helping them realise their special day.
It’s thanks to her mother, she got to see a different side to weddings. In a way, she “arranged” for her first steps into floristry. She also creates plant-able seed paper or tags. (Order in advance)
She always loved the idea of working with her hands and beautiful objects and so naturally, she started with flowers, but her full vision for the company is about creating happy memories. Therefore, she followed her dream to be a florist and hopefully a guardian of happiness.
Sandi feels like she is a living cliche: “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.” Hence the name Happy Place Flowers.
Each wedding is individually designed, aligned with the bride and grooms needs and wants. After a consultation with Sandi, a quote specific to the bride is accepted. Then the flowers that were chosen are sourced from the best suppliers and prepped accordingly.
The flowers should enhance the day, not be an added stress. By agreeing to let Happy Place Flowers be a part of your day, they handle everything flower related, so the bride and groom’s mind can be at rest and they can find their Happy Place.
