Johannesburg Wedding Expo
WEDSHOW at the Maponya Mall, Johannesburg, South Africa – Brought to you by Chuma Events, is about bringing access to the wedding market right at the door-step of the local community. This is for the exhibitor who wants to put their trousseau not only in front of thousand walk-ins in the Mall but also attract couples and brides-to-be from across the biggest township in Gauteng!
Bringing the best of the wedding world to Maponya Mall in 2016 attracted more than 5000 additional feet to the mall over the weekend. WEDSHOW @ The Mall is about experiencing the excitement of getting married in an intimate environment, unlike anything you’ve ever seen in Soweto. Whether you are launching a new product, or wish to increase sales, or reinforce brand loyalty, you will find success at this WEDSHOW.
In line with the Gauteng Township Economy Revitalization Strategy to promote market access and local enterprise Development, Chuma Events deemed it fit to host the WEDSHOW @ The Mall for the Sowetans in the comfort of their own township. They saw a need for an expo of this nature in the cultural milieu of Soweto. Despite being deeply rooted in history, Sowetans are trendsetters in many aspects of fashion and lifestyle. Locals will have an opportunity to meet Soweto-born wedding gown designers to wedding planners, makeup artists to florists and all other professionals that you need to make your marriage a lasting memory and befitting the prince and princess in you will come together for the second WEDSHOW at the Maponya Mall.
The WEDSHOW @ The Mall 2017 will be held at the Maponya Mall on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March 2017 and is open to the public from 09:00 to 17:00. The expo provides a unique opportunity for anybody planning a wedding to meet over 20 exhibitors all in one place and gives local businesses the opportunity to meet clients directly and showcase their work.
A lucky couple or an individual stands a chance to win a grand prize of R50,000 towards his/her wedding expenses. Two fashion shows will be held on both days wherein locals will showcase some of their trendy designs. They will also host a marriage seminar to equip the brides-to-be and their grooms-to-be about the marriage as institution as ordained by God.
