Canapes to desserts are prepared using only the best quality seasonal ingredients sourced from the Boschendal fields, The Werf Food Garden and local suppliers.
Boschendal offers various additional experiences for the wedding party and guests to enjoy from mountain biking routes, walking paths, horse riding, wine tasting, braai/spit braai options and cellar tours.
Boschendal is a 45-minute drive from Cape Town city centre and a 40-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.

The Olive Press
The Olive Press with its exposed natural poplar roof trusses, floor to ceiling glass doors and stunning views over meadow gardens and Groot Drakenstein Mountains makes for a picturesque event. The Olive Press can accommodate up to 200 guests inside the venue and an additional 50 guests in the adjoining covered veranda.
This historic building is a national monument ideal for small weddings. The beautiful private garden behind the Homestead is also often used for intimate wedding ceremonies. Up to 50 guests can be accommodated in the Homestead (depending on the floor layout).
Manor House Lawn
The historic Boschendal Manor House dates back to 1812 and is now a national monument. The large lawn in front of the Manor House with its rows of old trees can accommodate up to 250 guests.
Rhone Homestead Lawn
This beautiful lawn with its backdrop of the historic Rhone Homestead, the Heritage Rose Garden and Groot Drakenstein Mountains is an elegant setting for larger wedding and functions. The venue can accommodate a 1000 guests or up to 500 guests in a marquee.
Werf Farm Picnic and Rhone Rose Garden Picnic
Ideal for more casual, picnic-style functions. These picturesque summer venues can both host 250 guests.
