Cape Town Wedding Photographers

Cape Town Wedding Photographers company Fern Tree consists of Fern, and her wonderful husband Tim.

Fern has always loved the emotion and beauty of a wedding, and have been inspired by the breath-taking images that can be produced. She studied photography with the dream of capturing those perfect moments. As fate would have it, when she met Tim, he was fast becoming one of South Africa’s most in-demand fashion photographers. With a career approaching 11 years, he’s been published on billboards and magazine covers all the way from Jozi to New York. She saw the potential of combining their talents and her passion, to make their dream a reality. They have found an incredible balance between photojournalism and the sense of escapism and storytelling found in fashion photography while avoiding the cheesiness often associated with wedding photography.

She takes pride in having an eye for elegant touches, and always pay attention to the finer details that can have such a big impact. She loves spotting those special glances and small touches that capture the mood of the day forever. When this is combined with Tim’s extensive technical knowledge and couture fashion background, they produce the kind of results that blow their competitors away.

They pursue the classic, approaching each wedding with a balance between fashion photography and photojournalism, avoiding clichés and trends, and rather working towards something timeless. Let them capture your special moments like you’ve never seen before.
