Antoinette Meyer at Feast who does Wedding Catering in Cape Town, passionately manages FEAST CATERING. She started her career in the 90’s, working at the local high school restaurant, doing her practical front and back of the house. With her training completed at Internationally recognised Warwick Chef school in Hermanus, she went on to gain intense experience in high-pressure service environments.

Starting out in the US working at Polo Golf Estate as a line chef, she moved on to Europe. It was here where she sharpened her skills and acquired a European flair that she still infuses with her South African roots. With a variety of experience gained abroad, she decided to return to South Africa where she had the privilege to work for some of the most prestige establishments in the country, of most recently being working as Executive Chef for Peter Templehoff, Group Executive of The Liz McGrath hotel group and top 200 chefs in the world.

Her objectives are using local organic suppliers and in the process support the local communities and emerging small businesses. She also strives to adapt to and fit the event she is catering for. For example, doing a wine pairing where her wines are from the West Coast, she will use the signature ingredients from the specific area and carry the identity of the wine and the region it is in. Her Aim is and always will be out of the box thinking and that you are only as good as the last plate you served.
